Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).

A. Removal of MLG Uplock-Support Struts

(1) Remove the support strut A.
(a) Make a note of the dimension "Y".

Remove and discard the cotter pins (5) and (11).
(c)
Remove the nut (4) and the washer (3).
(d)
Remove the bolt (1) and the bush (2).
(e)
Remove the nut (12) and the washers (9) and (10).
(f)
Pull the bolt (6) out and removed the washers assembly (7).
(g)
Remove the support strut A (8).
(2) Remove the support strut B
(a) Make a note of the dimension "Z"
