B. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Open the MLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).
(2)
Make sure that a GROUND LOCK SLEEVE is installed on each MLG door (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-481-002).
(3)
Lift the aircraft at the forward jacking point (Ref. TASK 07-11-00-581-003).
R (4) Remove the GROUND SAFETY LOCK from the NLG leg. Subtask 32-33-00-869-085
C. Flight Configuration Precautions
(1) If the electrical power is necessary, do the precautions for flight configuration (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-001) before you open the LGCIU circuit breakers.

R F. Pressurize the Hydraulic System
R WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE FLIGHT CONTROL SURFACES_______
R ARE CLEAR BEFORE YOU PRESSURIZE/DEPRESSURIZE A HYDRAULIC
R SYSTEM.
R (1) Pressurize the Green hydraulic system
R (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-863-001).

R G. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
R (1) Do the EIS start procedure (Upper ECAM DU and lower ECAM DU only)
R (Ref. TASK 31-60-00-860-001).
R (2) On the ECAM CP, push (in) the WHEEL pushbutton switch (PBS/W) and
R make sure that the WHEEL page shows on the ECAM lower DU.
R (3) Make sure that the ECAM lower DU shows:
R - the L/G extended and locked.
R (4) Make sure that the three green triangles on the L/G annunciator panel
R 402VU, are on.
R WARNING : DO NOT PUT YOUR FINGERS IN THE UPLOCK MECHANISM. THIS IS_______
R DANGEROUS.
R (5) Close the MLG uplocks:
R - use a rod - non metallic to close the MLG uplocks.
R NOTE : Do this procedure for each retraction sequence that you will____
R do.
R (6) Remove the safety equipment:
R CAUTION : REMOVE THE SAFETY STAY BEFORE YOU DO THE LANDING GEAR_______
R EXTENSION AND RETRACTION TESTS. DAMAGE TO THE FUSELAGE CAN
R OCCUR IF THE AIRCRAFT MOVES DURING THE TESTS.
R (a) Remove the safety stay at FR73/74.
R (7) On the MLG legs, install the FALSE TARGET (98F32304000000) on each of
R the proximity sensors 20GA, 21GA, 22GA, 23GA.
R (8) Retract the NLG only:
R WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TRAVEL RANGES OF THE LANDING GEAR ARE_______
R CLEAR.
R (a) On the panel 400VU, move the landing-gear control-lever 6GA to
R the UP position.
R (b) During the NLG retraction make sure that:
R - the NLG doors open
R - the NLG leg retracts
R - the NLG doors close and lock
R - the ECAM lower DU shows the NLG leg is up and locked and the
