TORQUE the nuts (57) and, if necessary, the nuts (54) to between
0.4 and 0.45 m.daN (35.39 and 39.82 lbf.in).
(e)
Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (60).
(f)
Make sure that the electrical connector (60) is in the correct condition.
(g)
Connect the electrical connector (60) to the applicable proximity sensor (55):

for System 2, LH, connect FIN 17GA
-
for System 2, RH, connect FIN 16GA.
(5) For the MLG-extension proximity-sensors 21GA(20GA) (System 1): (Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 32-31-73-991-004)
(a) Install the proximity-sensor (72) on the sensor mounting bracket with the capscrews (79), the washers (75) and the nuts (74).

If the target (77) was removed:
-put the spacer (76) if applicable, and the target (77) in position on the target mounting bracket
-install the capscrews (78), the washers (81) and the nuts (82).
(c)
Make sure that the target (77), the proximity-sensor (72) and the spacer (76) if applicable, are in the positions identified before removal.
(d)
TORQUE the nuts (82) and, if necessary, the nuts (74) to between
0.4 and 0.45 m.daN (35.39 and 39.82 lbf.in).
(e)
Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (71).
(f)
Make sure that the electrical connector (71) is in the correct condition.
(g)
Connect the electrical connector (71) to the applicable
proximity-sensor (72):
-
for System 1, LH, connect FIN 21GA
-
for System 1, RH, connect FIN 20GA.
(6) For the MLG-extension proximity-sensors 23GA(22GA) (System 2): (Ref. Fig. 404/TASK 32-31-73-991-004)
(a)
Install the proximity-sensor (90) on the mounting-bracket with the capscrews (85), the washers (91) and the nuts (92).
(b)
If the target was removed:
-put the target spacer (86) if applicable, and the target (87) in position on the target mounting-bracket
-install the capscrews (84), the washers (89) and the nuts (88).
(c)
Make sure that the target (87), the proximity-sensor (90) and the spacer (86) if applicable, are in the positions identified before removal.
(d)
TORQUE the nuts (88) and, if necessary, the nuts (92) to between
0.4 and 0.45 m.daN (35.39 and 39.82 lbf.in).
(e)
Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (83).
(f)
Make sure that the electrical connector (83) is in the correct condition.

(g) Connect the electrical connector (83) to the applicable
proximity-sensor (90):

for System 2, LH, connect FIN 23GA
-
for System 2, RH, connect FIN 22GA.

For the MLG door-open proximity-sensors 33GA(32GA), 35GA(34GA): (Ref. Fig. 405/TASK 32-31-73-991-005)
(a)
Put the spacer (115) if applicable, and the proximity sensor
(114) in position on the proximity sensor mounting bracket.
(b)
Install the bolts (113), the washers (104) and the nuts (103).
(c)
If the target (108) was removed:
-
install the spacer (109) if applicable, and the target (108) in position on the target mounting-bracket
-
install the bolts (107), the washers (112) and the nuts (111).
(d)
Make sure that the target (108), the proximity-sensor (114) and the spacer (109) if applicable, are in the positions identified before removal.
(e)
TORQUE the nuts (103) and, if necessary, the nuts (111) to between 0.124 and 0.192 m.daN (10.97 and 16.99 lbf.in).
(f)
Remove the blanking cap from the electrical connector (106).
(g)
Make sure that the electrical connector (106) is in the correct condition.
(h)
Connect the electrical connector (106) to the applicable
proximity-sensor (114):
-
for System 1, LH, connect FIN 33GA
-
for System 1, RH, connect FIN 32GA.

For the proximity-sensors 9GA (8GA), 11GA (10GA) apply SEALANTS (Material No. 09-016) to:
-the capscrews (1), (9), (13), (14) and the nuts (5) and (18). (Ref. Fig. 401/TASK 32-31-73-991-001)
