 (1) To let the cables and linkages become stable, operate the free-fall extension system through ten full cycles:
 (a) For one full cycle, on the panel 110VU: - operate the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle three turns in a clockwise direction at a rate of one turn every five seconds
 - operate the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle three turns in a counter-clockwise direction at a rate of one turn every five seconds.
 (2) Lock the GEAR GRAVITY EXTN operating handle (1):
 (a)
 Put the handle (1) in the stowed position.

 (b)
 Put a wedge at each side of the handle (1), to keep it in position and prevent its movement.

 M. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
 (1)
 Open the NLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-22-00-010-001).

 (2)
 Make sure that a SAFETY PIN - NLG DOOR is installed in each NLG door.

 (3)
 Open the MLG doors (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

 (4) Make sure that a GROUND LOCK SLEEVE (460005835) is installed on each MLG door.

 Install the RIGGING PIN (98A27801001000) at position Pin 12 and Pin

 Install the RIGGING PIN (98DNSA20208060) at position Pin 2 and Pin

 11.

 (3)
 Make sure that the related parts are locked. NOTE : If the rigging pins can not be installed, adjust the MLG

____ mechanical system (Ref. TASK 32-33-00-820-004).

 (4)
 On the panel 110VU:

 -lock the GRAVITY GEAR EXTN handle (18) as follows:
 (a)
 Make sure that the handle (18) is folded into the center console.

 (b)
 Put a wedge at each side of the handle (18) to keep it in position and prevent its movement.

 Install the cockpit floor panels 211FF, 211JF (Ref. TASK 53-12-11-400-001).

 (5)
 Install the passenger compartment floor panels 241EF, 242FF (Ref. TASK 53-32-12-400-002).

 (6)
 Install the forward cargo-compartment ceiling-panels 131AC, 131BC, 131CC.

 (7)
 Close the forward cargo-compartment door 825 (Ref. TASK 52-30-00-860-002).
