Crew should define T/O configuration, T/O speed and acceleration altitude.
- If the crew has NOT completed PERF CRS yet, the instructor will define all
TAKE-OFF DATA as shown below (AIR COND ON / ANTI ICE OFF) :

ATIS : see T/O data page, insert turbulence level 10%.
Enter T/O data according to the crew preparation, or instructor definition (if crew has
not completed performance course).
PARKING GATE POSITION
Aircraft is at Gate parking position (select MAP on IOS to validate LL).
Set left window visual ON, press INIT GATE.
Check that gate coordinates have been entered and cross checked by the crew.

PREFLIGHT (END) :
Crew is requested in accordance to a LMC to dispatch the a/c with 3 t extra cargo and
has to decide whether it is possible or not, since the current fuel figueres cannot be
changed anymore without significant delay.
Note : Because penalty ration is 23 kg / 1000 kg the expected extra fuel burn off will be
3 x 23 = 66 + 5% Rte Res. This needs to carry 70 kg extra fuel for 3 t extra
cargo.

DEPARTURE CLEARANCE

ENGINE START AND PUSH BACK :

When start and push requested:
"[Airline ID] XXX - start and push approved, QNH 1012, call ready for taxi."
AFTER PUSH BACK AND TAXI :

Push back NOSE pointing proper direction.
When taxi requested:
"[Airline ID] XXX - taxi to holding position RWY 18R, via TWY’s T5, T4, T3 and A3,
due to digging works expect take-off from intersection A3, 2900 m remaining distance,
at A3 holding change SATOLAS TOWER 120.45 and report ready for departure."
The before T/O check list to the line should have been completed prior to asking for
line-up and take-off. When lining up the proper actions should be noticed and
mentioned if necessary and the before T/O c/l below the line should be performed.

Furthermore it should be noticed how the crew is dealing with the revised RWY length
(new performance data) and insertion of the take-off shift into T/O PERF page.
Upon arriving the holding position, the PNF should have been solved the problems.
Instructor may prepare the crew during briefing on short notice concerning works in
progress, since they do’nt have handsome performance data sheets in order to
