EVALUATION SESSION GUIDE
01 - BRIEFING TOPICS
· Evaluation in normal and abnormal or emergency configuration.
02 - SESSION OBJECTIVE
· Demonstration of the competence to operate A320 as Captain or First Officer, Pilot flying or
Pilot not flying.
· Completion of simulator syllabus in order to start aircraft training.

Suggested briefing :
· The flight will consist of a normal airline flight from Toulouse to Orly with a Limoge
departure.
Please use your actual Company and Airbus procedures.
· You will be responsible for liaision with ATC, safe operation and navigation of the aircraft.
Make sure that you correctly understand ATC instructions. During the flight it will be
necessary for me to initialize the simulator in order to carry out certain exercises ; I will
inform you when I have control of the simulator and when I return control to you.
· You may communicate to each other in your mother language to facilitate procedures, but
please keep me informed about what you are doing and remember you must speak English
to ATC.
· Remember this is normal commercial flight: do not waste time but do not allow yourselves
to be rushed. You must tell ATC what you require.
· Make good use of the published documentation for en route and terminals areas. Set and
observe the appropriate minimas.
· Make full use of all aircraft equipment. If I do not wish you to use something, I may cause it
to fail.
· Remember the importance of task sharing and good crew coordination. You are assessed
