04 - SESSION GUIDE (END)
12 : - Insert eng. failure at or below 100 ft (when visual), and illustrate single eng. capability
of the autopilot (CAT 3 single).
- Autoland is allowed.
13 : If ATT warning is inserted :
- Check that PF is doing a manual go around using STDBY HORIZON.
- Attitude warning must be analysed after GA.
14 : - Captain’s (LH seat) failure to respond to standard call-out is to be considered as his
incapacitation.
- Once the incapacitation has been established the F/O (RH seat) must make a go
around.
15 : - Insert engine failure at 500 ft RA.
- Check that the eng failure is noticed without delay
- In this case go around must be initiated.
NOTE : Sometimes failure is noticed too late (below 100 ft) and therefore autoland is
performed.
16 : Insert LOC beam deviation at 300 ft RA
17 : Insert A/P failure at 80 ft RA, Manual landing is allowed if visual references are
sufficient.
