Demonstrate effect of speed brakes
20 : Conduct all the evolutions to end up the exercises at around 30 NM from the airport
Freeze the simulator for approach preparation, briefing and check list
Preparation : FPLN (RWY only), PERF (Vapp, MDH only), RAD NAV
21 : Provide radar vectors to intercept the LOC at 20 NM
Freeze the simulator and explain the LOC display on PFD and on ND
Explain relation between track, heading, LOC (change the wind for better explanation)
Release the simulator only when the trainee is familiar with the new display
Stabilized approach (in landing configuration at Vapp before descent point)
Check respect of call outs and task sharing
Freeze the simulator as required for additional information
22 : Even if no visual continue the final approach to the landing
When on ground demonstrate the use of reversers and call outs
