03 - SESSION PROFICIENCY CRITERIA
· Demonstrate ability to operate the aircraft with respect of IFR requirements.
· Demonstrate ability to perform normal and abnormal procedures according to SOP.

procedures and techniques, according to the standard of accuracy required by regulations.

3 : Introduce one of the following failures during engine start :
- Hot start
- Valve not opened or not closed
- APU fault for start using external air and cross bleed start
5 : Clearance to taxi : taxi via 13, 11, 10B, 9
7 : Reaching FL 70, in ALT*, clear to climb and maintain FL 310 : observe reversion mode
9 : Before LMG introduce one of the following events to check the decision making
- Paris Orly is forecasting 3 hours delay due to radar unserviceable
- Pressurization problem due to cargo door opening: depressurization
- Cargo smoke
- Fuel leak
ATC Clearance : proceed direct to Brive, UG 36 to AULON, descent to FL 290, expect
AULON 3T arrival
12 : Weather : 250 feet / 2 km
After LOC intercept ask the trainee to disconnect the AP, to disengage the FD and to
disconnect the ATHR : this approach must be flown using raw data with the FPV
(JAR-FCL requirement for skill test)
14 : Weather : CAVOK, wind 190°/12 kt
ATC Clearance : visual pattern
Choose among 3 different items(refer to MMEL item defined in item 1)
- Slats or Flaps locked by wing tip brakes after take off
- or ADR 1+3 fault: insert the second failure downwind
- or RA 1+2 fault: insert the second failure downwind
17 : Change seat after aircraft stop : change for RWY 15R
18 : Weather : 800 feet / 4 km
ATC Clearance : local flight, Take off 15R, maintain RWY heading to 8 DME TOU VOR,
turn left heading 325 to intercept TOU radial 021 outbound, proceed to TLB and hold,
squawk 0420
Check holding pattern entry and provide the trainee with information to proceed for a
VOR-DME approach on RWY 15R
24 : Weather : 800 feet / 4 km
ATC Clearance : blue pattern
Insert engine failure at 50 feet followed by an engine fire at 300 feet
