FINAL CHECK
01 - SESSION OBJECTIVE
· To evaluate the trainee in his ability to operate the aircraft with respect of good crew
cooperation
· To evaluate the trainee in his ability to fly a Jet aircraft
02 - BRIEFING TOPICS
· Brief to overall session and what do you expect from the trainees
· Rejected take off and emergency evacuation
03 - SESSION PROFICIENCY CRITERIA
The instructor will assess the following :
· Ability to apply good crew coordination throughout the entire flight
- Task sharing and crosschecks, checklists
- Proper communication and briefings
- Situational awareness and decision making
· Ability to handle the aircraft in all phases including landing
Flight within the below listed tolerances should not be achieved at the expense of
smoothness and good co-ordination :
- Speed : 0 + 10 kt
- Heading : +/- 5°
- Altitude : +/- 150 feet
· IFR : good spatial orientation and strict respect of instrument flying rules
04 - SESSION GUIDE
The instructor will set up the simulator with engine running and all after start items completed

The trainee inserts the minimum parameters in the FMGS
6 : Weather : ceiling 500 feet, visibility 4 km
Insert an engine failure with damage at 100 feet
9 : Insert G/S failure before reaching 500 feet
15 : Weather : ceiling 1000 feet, visibility 8 km
VOR-DME or NDB approach at instructor discretion
17 : Repeat until proficient
