- remove the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 (1SQ1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-000-004)
a If there is no ground signal:

- install a new XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-400-003).
b If there is a ground signal:

- install the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1
- do a check and repair the wiring between the GPWC and the FWC 1 and FWC 2, the wiring between the GPWC and the weather radar transceiver or the wiring between the GPWC and the TCAS computer: pin AB/5D of the GPWC, pins AB/2H of the FWC 1 and FWC 2, pin AB/1D of the weather radar transceiver and pin AF/5B of the TCAS computer. A. If the test gives the maintenance message R GPWC (1WZ)/FWC1/2 (1WW1/2)/WXR1 (1SQ1):
- do a check for a ground signal at pin AB/5D of the GPWC (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
(1) If there is no ground signal:
- replace the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-400-001)
R (2) If there is a ground signal:
R - remove the FWC-1 (1WW1) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-34-000-001)
R (a) If there is no ground signal:
R - install a new FWC 1 (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-34-400-001)
R (b) If there is a ground signal:
R - install the FWC-1
R - remove the FWC-2 (1WW2) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-53-34-000-001)
R 1_ If there is no ground signal:

R install a new XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-

R - If there is a ground signal:
R do a check and repair the wiring between the GPWC and the
R FWC 1 and FWC 2, the wiring between the GPWC and the
R weather radar transceiver 1 and 2 or the wiring between
R the GPWC and the TCAS computer: pin AB/5D of the GPWC,

A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message: CAPT TERR ON ND PB SW (30WZ1)/GPWC (1WZ) - on the TERR ON ND PNL (403VU), make sure that the TERR ON ND, CAPT
pushbutton switch (30WZ1) is not pushed (the ON legend is off)
- do a check for ground at pin AA/1A of the GPWC (Ref. ASM 34-48/02).
(1) If there is no ground:
- replace the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-400-001).
