4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message: GPWS SYS PB SW (9WZ)/GPWC (1WZ): - on the GPWS section of panel 21VU, make sure that the GPWS/SYS
pushbutton switch (9WZ) is not pushed (the OFF legend is off)
- do a check for ground at pin AB/7D of the GPWC (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
(1) If there is no ground:
- replace the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-400-001).
(2) If there is ground:
- replace the P/BSW-GPWS/SYS (9WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-400-002).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the INHIBIT ALL MODE discrete from the GPWC (1WZ) to the GPWS/SYS pushbutton switch (9WZ) (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

(1) Do the BITE test of the Enhanced GPWS (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-00-740-002).

A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message:
GPWS FLP MODE PB SW (7WZ)/SFCC (21CV)/GPWC (1WZ)
- on the GPWS section of panel 21VU:
. make sure that the GPWS/FLAP MODE pushbutton switch (7WZ) is not
pushed (the OFF legend is off).
. make sure that the GPWS/LDG FLAP 3 pushbutton switch (13WZ) is not
pushed (the ON legend is off).
- on the center pedestal, on the panel 114VU, put the flap and slat control lever in the 0 position
- do a check for ground at pin AB/9C of the GPWC (1WZ).

(1) If there is ground:
- replace the P/BSW-GPWS/FLAP MODE (7WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-400-002).
(2) If there is no ground:
- put the flap and slat control lever in the FULL position
- do a check for ground at pin AB/9C of the GPWC (1WZ).
(a) If there is ground:
- replace the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-400-001).
(b) If there is no ground:
- replace the SFCC-1 (21CV) (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 27-51-34-400-001).
1_ If the fault continues:
- replace the P/BSW-GPWS/LDG FLAP 3 (13WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-
10-00-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-400-002).
a If the fault continues:

- do a check and repair the wiring of the GPWS/LDG FLAP 3 pushbutton switch (13WZ): . pin A/B3 to GPWC (1WZ) pin AB/9C . pin A/B2 to SFCC1 (21CV) pin AB/8B (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
