(1) Do the BITE test of the Enhanced GPWS (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-00-740-002).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message
CAPT/FO GPWS GS PB SW (4WZ/5WZ)/GPWC (1WZ):
- do a check for ground at pin AB/9A or AB/9D of the GPWC.
(1) If there is no ground:
- replace the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-400-001).

- replace the P/BSW - GPWS/G/S (4WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-400-002).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the P/BSW - GPWS/G/S (5WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-400-002).
1_ If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the GPWS/G/S
pushbutton switches (4WZ and 5WZ) and the GPWC (1WZ) : pins
AB/9A and AB/9D (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

A. If you cannot start the BITE test of the Enhanced GPWS on the MCDU:
- replace the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the LGCIU-1 (5GA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring of the AIR/GROUND discrete from the LGCIU1 (5GA1) to the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
B. Do the BITE test of the Enhanced GPWC (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-00-740-002).

Loss of the Aural Warnings
1. Possible Causes

- LOUD SPEAKER-CAPT (7WW)
- LOUD SPEAKER-F/O (8WW)
- GPWC (1WZ)
- wiring of the ALARM 2 INPUT bus from the CAPT loud speaker (7WW) to the first terminal block
- wiring of the ALARM 2 INPUT bus from the F/O loud speaker (8WW) to the first terminal block
- wiring of the AUDIO OUTPUT bus from the GPWC (1WZ) to the first terminal block
