A. Test
(1) Do the Interface test of the IR (system 3) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-14-00-
740-001). R
4. Fault Isolation

R A. If the test gives the maintenance message GPSSU2 (1SN2)/ADIRU3 (1FP3):
R - replace the GPSSU-2 (1SN2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-58-31-000-001) and (Ref.
R AMM TASK 34-58-31-400-001).
R (1) If the fault continues:
R - replace the ADIRU-3 (1FP3) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-000-001) and
R (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).
R (a) If the fault continues:
R - do a check and repair the wiring from the GPSSU2 to the ADIRU3:
R pins A/29, 30 to pins AB/7C, 8C for the SECONDARY GPS DATA IN
R bus and pins A/13, 14 to pins AB/1C, 2C for the SECONDARY GPS
R TIME MARK bus (Ref. ASM 34-58/01).

- read the CFDIU CLASS 3 FAULTS for ATA 341400 and SOURCE IR1 (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-869-002).
NOTE : In this case the GPSSU message is for the GPS part of the related

MMR.

R (1) If the CLASS 3 FAULTS report gives one or two of these maintenance
R messages GPSSU1 (1SN1)/ADIRU1 (1FP1) and GPSSU2 (1SN2)/ADIRU1 (1FP1),
R you can find the related trouble shooting procedure in the applicable
R Page Block 101.
R (2) If the CLASS 3 FAULTS report does not give one or two of these
R maintenance messages GPSSU1 (1SN1)/ADIRU1 (1FP1) and GPSSU2
R (1SN2)/ADIRU1 (1FP1):
R - replace the MMR-1 (40RT1) and MMR-2 (40RT2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-
R 31-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-36-31-400-002).
