(a) If the wiring is not OK:
- repair it
- connect the coaxial connector to the DME antenna 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-51-11-400-002)
- install the DME interrogator 2.

- replace the RMI-VOR/DME (11FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- remove the VOR/DME RMI
- do a check and repair the wiring between the VOR/DME RMI and the first terminal block: for pins A/<I, <J of the VOR/DME RMI (Ref. ASM 34-51/01)
- install the VOR/DME RMI.
R **ON A/C 106-149, 201-299, 301-399, 401-499,
A. If the test gives the maintenance message DMC2/1
(1WT2/1)/DDRMI(1FN)/DME2(2SD2):
- replace the RMI-VOR/ADF/DME (21FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-400-002).
(1) If the fault continues:
- remove the VOR/ADF/DME RMI
- do a check and repair the wiring between the VOR/ADF/DME RMI and the first terminal block: for pins A/13, 14 of the VOR/ADF/DME RMI (Ref. ASM 34-51/01)
- install the VOR/ADF/DME RMI.

(1) If the fault stops:
- replace the DME interrogator that you installed on side 1.
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the DME interrogator 2
- do a check and repair the wiring between the DME interrogator 2 and the first terminal block: for pins AB/3G, 3H of the DME interrogator 2 (Ref. ASM 34-51/01)
