- replace the radio altimeter transceiver 1.
(2) If the fault continues:
- remove the radio altimeter transceiver 1
- check if the ARINC 600 connectors are in correct condition.
(a) If the ARINC 600 connectors are not in correct condition:
- replace the radio altimeter transceiver 1.
(b) If the ARINC 600 connectors are in correct condition:
- remove the ANTENNA-RA RCPTN, 1 (5SA1) and the ANTENNA-RA XMSN,1 (6SA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-11-000-001)
- check if the antenna coaxial cables are in correct condition (no corrosion).
1_ If the antenna coaxial cables are not in correct condition:
- replace the coaxial cables.
2_ If the antenna coaxial cables are in correct condition:
- install the radio altimeter transceiver 1
- install the radio altimeter antennas (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-
11-400-001).
B. Do the test given in para. 3.
