A. If the test gives the maintenance message RA1 ANTENNA (5SA1):
- remove the ANTENNA-RA RCPTN, 1 (5SA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-11-000-001)
- remove the XCVR-RA, 1 (2SA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001)
- do a check of the wiring between the RA transceiver 1 (2SA1) and the RA reception antenna 1 (5SA1) (Ref. ASM 34-42/01).
(1) If there is continuity:
- install a new RA reception antenna 1(5SA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-11-400-001)
- install the RA tranceiver 1 (2SA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-400-001).
(2) If there is no continuity:
- repair the wiring between the RA transceiver 1 (2SA1) and the RA reception antenna 1 (5SA1): pin AA/C of the RA transceiver 1 (2SA1) (Ref. ASM 34-42/01).
- install the RA transceiver 1 (2SA1) and the RA reception antenna 1 (5SA1).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the XCVR-RA, 1 (2SA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-000-001) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-42-33-400-001).
B. Do the test given in para. 3.
