R  1 If the fault continues:_ 
R  - do a check and repair the wiring of the FMGC OWN CB 1 bus 
R  from the FMGC 1 (1CA1) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 
R  22-86/02). 
R  (b) If the Interface test of the IR (system 1) does not give a 
R  maintenance message related to a FMGC1 failure: 
R  - replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 (1RG1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-
R  13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001). 
R  1 If the fault continues:_ 
R  - do a check and repair the wiring of the DATA FROM FMGC bus 
R  from the COM/NAV FREQ SEL RMP 1 (1RG1) to the first terminal 
R  block (Ref. ASM 23-13/01).

R  CONTROL SOURCE: 
R  - do the BITE test of the VOR/MKR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-55-00-740-002). 
R  (a) If the BITE test gives a maintenance message related to a RMP 
R  failure: 
R  - replace the RMP-COM/NAV FREQ SEL, 1 (1RG1) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-
R  13-13-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-13-13-400-001). 
R  1 If the fault continues:_ 
R  - do a check and repair the wiring of the NAV FREQ DATA OUTPUT 
R  bus from the COM/NAV FREQ SEL RMP 1 (1RG1) the first 
R  terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01). 
R  (b) If the BITE test does not give a maintenance message related to a 
R  RMP failure: 
R  - replace the RECEIVER-ADF, 1 (2RP1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-000-
R  002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-53-31-400-002). 
R  1 If the fault continues:_ 
R  - do a check and repair the wiring of the FREQUENCY CONTROL 
R  PORT A bus from the ADF receiver 1 (2RP1) to the first 
R  terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-53/01). 
R  **ON A/C ALL
 B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
