R (1) Do the BITE test of the weather radar (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-00-740-R 002).
R 4. Fault Isolation

R A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message WXR MOUNTING TRAY (9SQ):
R - remove the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 (1SQ2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-000-R 004)
R - get access to the MTG TRAY-WR XCVR (9SQ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-37-000-R 001)
R - disconnect the electrical connector of the wave guide switch
R - do a check of the wiring between the WR transceiver 2 and the wave
R guide switch: pins AB/8D and A/D(Ref. ASM 34-41/01).

R (1) If there is no continuity:
R - repair the above wiring.
R - connect the electrical connector of the wave guide switch (Ref. AMM
R TASK 34-41-37-400-001)
R - install the weather radar transceiver 2 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-
R 400-003).
R (2) If there is continuity:
R - do a check of the wiring of the weather radar transceiver mounting
R tray (9SQ):
R . from pin A/B to the ground point
R . from pin A/E to the weather radar control unit (3SQ), pins A/E
R and B/E
R (Ref. ASM 34-41/01).
R (a) If the wiring is not ok:
R - repair the above wiring.
R (b) If the wiring is ok:
R - replace the wave guide switch (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-37-000-001)
R and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-37-400-001).
R 1 If the fault continues:_
R - replace the CTL UNIT-WEATHER RADAR (3SQ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-
R 41-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-12-400-001).
R a If the fault continues:_
R - replace the weather radar transceiver 2 (Ref. AMM TASK
R 34-41-33-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-400-003).
R B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

A. If the BITE test gives the maintenance message FCU (2CA) BUS CP-L/WXR1 (1SQ1):
- replace the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 1 (1SQ1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-000-004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-400-003).
(1) If the fault continues:
- remove the weather radar transceiver 1
- do a check and repair the wiring of the CP DATA INPUT 1 bus between the weather radar transceiver 1 (1SQ1 and the first terminal block : for pins AB/3B, 4B of the weather radar transceiver 1 (Ref.
