- close the circuit breaker (12FN)
(a) If the circuit breaker stays closed:
- replace the VOR/ADF/DME RMI (21FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-400-002)
(b) If the circuit breaker trips again:
- do a check for a short to ground between the circuit breaker (12FN) and the VOR/ADF/DME RMI (21FN) (Ref. ASM 34-57/01).
1 If there is a short to ground:
_ - repair the above wiring.
2 If there is no short to ground:
_
- replace the C/B-NAV/VOR/ADF/DME RMI (12FN).
3 Install the VOR/ADF/DME RMI (21FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-
_
400-002)
C. Do the test given in Para. 3.

A. If during the test, the VOR1 pointer stays in the 3 o'clock position on the RMI:
- make sure that the red flag comes into view on the RMI and on the ND.
(1) If no flag comes into view on the RMI and on the ND:
- refer to the trouble shooting procedure (Ref. TASK 34-55-00-810-812).
(2) If the flag comes into view on the RMI and on the ND:
- do the BITE test of the VOR/MKR (Ref. AMM TASK 34-55-00-740-002).
(a) If the BITE test gives a maintenance message:
- Do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
(b) If the BITE test does not gives a maintenance message:
- replace the RECEIVER-VOR/MKR, 1 (3RS1) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-55-31-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-55-31-400-001).

- do a check and repair the wiring of the OMNI BEARING OUTPUT2 bus from the VOR/MARKER 1 receiver (3RS1) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-57/01).
(3) If the flag comes into view only on the RMI:
- replace the RMI-VOR/DME (11FN) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-57-22-400-001).
