Removal of the Weather Radar Transceiver (1SQ1, 1SQ2)
Installation of the Weather Radar Transceiver (1SQ1,
1SQ2)
R NOTE : Do the test that follows with the ATT HDG selector switch (13FP),
____ R on the SWITCHING panel 8VU, at NORM then at F/O ON 3.
R Do the BITE test of the weather radar (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-00-740-002).
R 4. Fault Isolation

R A. If the test gives the maintenance message ADIRU2+3(1FP2+3) ADR
R BUS/WXR2(1SQ2):
R - replace the XCVR-WEATHER RADAR, 2 (1SQ2) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-000-R 004) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-41-33-400-003).
R (1) If the fault continues:
R - swap the ADIRU-2 (1FP2) and the ADIRU1 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-000-R 001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).
R (a) If the fault stops:
R - replace the ADIRU that you installed on side 1.

R (b) If the fault continues:
R - swap back the ADIRU1 and the ADIRU2
R - swap the ADIRU-3 (1FP3) and the ADIRU1 (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-
R 000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-12-34-400-001).
R 1_ If the fault stops:
R - replace the ADIRU that you installed on side 1.
R 2_ If the fault continues:
R - remove the weather radar transceiver 2
R - remove the ADIRU2 and the ADIRU3
R - do a check and repair the wiring from the ADIRU2 to the
R weather radar transceiver 2: from pins AB/5E, 6E of the
R ADIRU2 to pins AB/11J, 12J of the weather radar transceiver
R 2 (Ref. ASM 34-41/01) and the wiring from the ADIRU3 to the
R weather radar transceiver 2: from pins AB/5E, 6E of the
R ADIRU3 to pins AB/12G, 13G of the weather radar transceiver
R 2.
R - install the weather radar transceiver 2
R - install the ADIRU2 and the ADIRU3.
R B. Do the test given in Para. 3.

Failure of the Radio Altimeter (RA) Transceiver 1

- XCVR-RA, 1 (2SA1)
- short to ground at the wiring between the circuit breaker (1SA1) and the RA transceiver 1 (2SA1).
