 A. If the test gives a maintenance message: R - do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
 B. If there is no fault:
 - replace the GPWC (1WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 34-48-34-400-001).
 (1) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring of the ILS DATA INPUT bus from the GPWC (1WZ) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
 C. Do the test given in Para. 3.


 Continuous Inhibition of the Flap Condition
 1. Possible Causes

 - wiring of the FLAPS discrete from the GPWC (1WZ) to the GPWS/FLAP MODE pushbutton switch (7WZ)

 Not applicable, you cannot confirm this fault on the ground.

 4. Fault Isolation
_______________
 A. Do the procedure: - on the GPWS section of panel 21VU, make sure that the GPWS/FLAP MODE pushbutton switch (7WZ) is not pushed (OFF legend is off)
 - on the center pedestal, on the panel 114VU, put the flap and slat control lever in the 0 position
 - make sure that there is no ground at pin AB/9C of the GPWC (1WZ).
 (1) If there is ground:
 - do a check for a short to ground at the wiring of the FLAPS discrete from the GPWC (1WZ) to the GPWS/FLAP MODE pushbutton switch (7WZ) : pin A/B1 (Ref. ASM 34-48/01).
 (a) If the fault continues:
 - replace the P/BSW-GPWS/FLAP MODE (7WZ) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-10-00-400-002).
