B. Also observe that rudder position indication on EICAS indicates rudder moving to left.
4. Rotate the rudder trim control to NOSE RIGHT.
A. On both Captain’s and First Officer’s sides, observe that left rudder pedals move aft and that right rudder pedals move forward.
B. Also observe that rudder position indication on EICAS indicates rudder moving to right. Before each departure, verify rudder trim is centered:
1. Return rudder trim to neutral position by rotating the rudder trim control as required until rudder pedals are aligned and rudder position indication on EICAS shows rudder is centered.
2. Restore airplane to required configuration.

PLACARD
As appropriate - L (R) STALL WARNING TEST INOP MAINTENANCE (M)
1. Check that trailing edge flaps and leading edge slats are fully retracted with flap lever in zero (flaps up) detent.
2. Provide electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
WARNING: KEEP PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL SURFACES TO PREVENT INJURY OR DAMAGE.
3. Pressurize left hydraulic system (AMM 29-11-00).
4. Position flap lever in 1-unit detent, and check that flaps and slats extend.
5. Check that left and right angle-of-attack vanes are parallel to ground.
6. Provide a pressure source to pressurize upper left and upper right pitot probes to 100-110 knots, 0.23-0.29 psig (for the 285T1104 Advanced Stall Warning System: 140-150 knots, 0.47 -0.54 psig) regulated air pressure (AMM 34-11-00/501).
7. Check that left stall warning/autoslat system is operational:
NOTE: 757-200 airplanes prior to Line Number 1026 are equipped with Air Data Computers (ADCs). 757-200 airplanes beginning at Line Number 1026 and all 757-300 airplanes are equipped with Air Data Inertial Reference Units (ADIRUs).
A. Open and collar the following pitot heat circuit breakers on the P6 power distribution panel:
1) CAPT MAIN PITOT HEAT.
2) For ADC equipped airplanes, L AUX PITOT HEAT. For ADIRU equipped airplanes, C ADIRU PITOT HEAT.
3) For ADC equipped airplanes, R AUX PITOT HEAT. For ADIRU equipped airplanes, STBY INST PITOT HEAT.
4) F/O MAIN PITOT HEAT.
B. Open L AOA PROBE HT (P6) and Air/Ground relay system No. 1 (P11) circuit breakers.
C. Check that left AOA vane is cool enough to touch. If not, wait until vane cools.
 
D. Rotate left AOA vane counterclockwise (vane trailing edge up) approximately 20 degrees, and check that left stick shaker shakes control columns, and that slats deploy.
E. Rotate left AOA vane to original position, and check that left stick shaker stops shaking, and slats return to sealed position.
