Designated blocked Return Air Grille locations:
1. Station 1260 to 1360 (but not including Air Grille at 1360-1380) both left and right sides.
2. Station 1600 to 1720 right side only.
3. Station 1620 to 1720 left side only.
NOTE 1: Only ONE Return Air Grille may be blocked at any one time.
NOTE 2: Grille must be replaced by a panel that completely blocks the area
NOTE 3: Some locations may not have Return Air Grilles due to doors and monuments.

MAINTENANCE (M) Left Fan Inoperative
1. Open circuit breakers EQUIP COOLING LOW FLOW DET and EQUIP COOL SMOKE DET/CONT in the P11 overhead circuit breaker panel.
2. Open circuit breaker EQUIP COOLING GROUND WARN & TEST in the P6 main power distribution panel.
NOTE: Perform steps 3 and 4 at panel P36 or perform steps 5 and 6 at panel P70.
3. Access the P36 left miscellaneous relay panel. Locate wire W1260-6506-24 at either pin 26 or 27 of connector D40910J in position 4 of the AP0036 disconnect bracket. Remove wire W1260-6506-24 from D40910J. Cap and stow wire.
4. Restore the P36 Panel.
5. Access the P70 miscellaneous electrical equipment panel. Locate wire W1250-0095-22 at either pin 10 or 25 of connector D41746J in position 2 of the AP0070 disconnect bracket. Remove wire W1250- 0095-22 from D41746J. Cap and stow wire.
6. Restore the P70 Panel.
7. Close circuit breakers EQUIP COOLING LOW FLOW DET and EQUIP COOL SMOKE DET/CONT in the P11 overhead circuit breaker panel.
8. Close circuit breaker EQUIP COOLING GROUND WARN & TEST in the P6 main power distribution panel.

OPERATIONS (O)
1. When one recirculation fan is turned off, or is inoperative, the pack automatically goes to the high flow mode thus increasing fuel burn. Flight planning fuel should be increased by 0.3% when dispatching with one recirculation fan inoperative and by 0.7% when dispatching with two recirculation fans inoperative.
2. Left Fan Inoperative:
A. For airplanes with the low flow detector, the following EICAS messages will be displayed after engine shutdown due to equipment cooling automatic test:
