Position flap lever to agree with flap position.
H. Parking Brake  Set
I. Fuel Control Switches CUTOFF
J. Left Audio Selector Panel  Set
K. Right Hydraulic Electric Pump Switch ON
L. Pack Control Selectors   OFF
NOTE: Pack valves, if not closed during previous airplane shutdown, must be closed by ground
crew prior to engine start.
M. Start one engine using using standby engine indicator. Observe EGT start limit.
N. Continue normal PREFLIGHT procedures.

Electrical system control panel as appropriate - L (R) GEN DRIVE LIGHT INOP or L (R) IDG DISC
MAINTENANCE (M)
1. Verify associated EICAS message operates normally as follows:
A. Run affected engine.
B. Disconnect affected IDG by pushing the disconnect switch on the overhead panel.
C. Verify appropriate EICAS message L (R) GEN DRIVE is displayed.
D. Shut down affected engine.
E. Return airplane to normal configuration (reconnect affected IDG).
2. If IDG is to remain disconnected, see item 24-00-1.

MAINTENANCE (M)
1. Open and collar circuit breakers:
A. HYD GEN CONT on Main Power distribution panel P6.
 
B. AC BUS SENSE LEFT on Overhead Circuit Breaker panel P11.
C. AC BUS SENSE RIGHT on Overhead Circuit Breaker panel P11.
2. Secure Hydraulic Motor Generator Shutoff Valve in CLOSED position:
A. Open left wheel well door and install door lock (AMM 32-00-15).
B. Move manual override arm indicator on the shutoff valve to the closed position (POS 2).
C. Lockwire the Manual Override Arm Position Indicator in the closed position to the metal tab attached to the electrical connector on the valve motor body.
D. Remove wheel well door lock.
E. Notify dispatch that the Hydraulic Motor Generator is inoperative.
HYDRAULIC MOTOR GENERATOR SHUTOFF VALVE
OPERATIONS (O)
For ETOPS, observe MEL requirements for operation of APU.
Average fuel consumption for APU operation is 90 kg per hour.
If all AC power is lost, Captain’s RDMI information may be lost. Captain’s RDMI information may be recovered by selecting ALTN on the First Officer’s IRS Instrument Source Selector Panel.
