MAINTENANCE (M)
Remove the forward equipment cooling air filter (AMM 21-58-07/401).
1. Remove electrical power from the airplane (AMM 24-22-00/201).
2. Open the No. 1 cargo door (821) (AMM 06-46-00).
3. On the left side, remove the third sidewall panel aft of the cargo compartment forward end liner,
opposite forward cargo door (AMM 25-50-02).
4. Open filter housing and release latches on the top and bottom of unit.
5. Remove the filter .
6. Re-install the removed sidewall panel.
7. Close the No. 1 cargo door.
8. Restore the airplane to its usual condition.
Remove the aft equipment cooling air filter (AMM 21-58-07/401).
1. Open these circuit breakers and attach DO-NOT-CLOSE tags:
A. AFT EQPT COOLING FAN SPLY NO. 1 on the right miscellaneous relay panel P37.
B. AFT EQPT COOLING FAN SPLY NO. 2 on the miscellaneous electrical equipment panel P70.
2. Open the aft cargo door (822) (AMM 06-46-00).
3. Find the aft E/E cooling filter on the compartment ceiling, approximately 18 feet aft of cargo door.
4. Open the filter housing and remove latches on inboard and outboard sides of unit.
5. Remove the filter.
6. Remove DO-NOT-CLOSE tags and close circuit breakers that were opened in Step 1.
7. Close the aft cargo door.
8. Restore the airplane to its usual condition.

Associated zone temperature control selector - DO NOT OPERATE - LEAVE OFF Trim air switchlight as appropriate
MAINTENANCE (M)
Trim Air Regulating Valve Closed:
1. Press TRIM AIR switchlight on P5 panel to OFF.
2. Check that amber TRIM AIR OFF light comes on.
3. Open and collar the CABIN TRIM AIR circuit breaker on overhead circuit breaker panel (P11). Affected Zone Trim Air Modulating Valve Closed:
1. Position affected Compartment Temperature Control as follows:
A. FWD CAB or AFT CAB cabin, rotate temperature control to OFF.
2. Check on EICAS ECS/MSG page that the affected TRIM VALVE is in the full closed (0.00) position.
3. Check that the affected Zone INOP Light illuminates.
NOTE: If there is reason to suspect that the Zone Trim Air Modulating Valve will not stay closed using the
above procedure, use the procedure in 21-61-4 to insure its closure.
