I. Plug the hydraulic lines with BACP20AU6(J, K or S) or MS21913(J, K, R or T)6 plugs for 3/8 inch
tubing, or BACP20AU4(J, K or S) or MS21913(J, K, R or T)4 plugs for 1/4 inch tubing.
J. Close the circuit breakers from step E.
K. Set MCP F/D switches to ON.
L. Set STAB TRIM switches to NORM.
M. Set L, C, R TAIL FLT CONTROL SHUTOFF to ON.
N. Perform the steps under “Autopilot Inoperative, Autopilot EHSV Not Leaking” under Item 1 above.

If VERT SPD Selector is inoperative, targeted vertical speed in Vertical Speed mode cannot be adjusted. Vertical Speed mode may still be used to hold airplane vertical speed at time of engagement.
If BANK LIMIT Selector is inoperative, Heading Select bank angle limit cannot be changed. There is no flight crew impact if stuck at AUTO. If stuck at a low bank angle value, large heading changes in Heading Select mode may require significantly greater time to complete than normal. If stuck at a high bank angle value, large heading changes in Heading Select mode may be undesirably aggressive at cruise conditions.
If IAS/MACH Push Function is inoperative, V NAV Speed Intervention cannot be invoked. If continued V NAV operation is desired, speed entries can be made via the CDU.
If ALT Push Function is inoperative, V NAV Altitude Intervention cannot be invoked. If continued V NAV operation is desired, altitude constraints can be deleted via the CDU.
If HDG SEL Push Function (engage switch) is inoperative, Heading Select mode cannot be engaged. Turns must be accomplished in L NAV or in manual flight, or using APP, LOC, or B/CRS if appropriate.
