Aileron trim switches - AILERON TRIM INOP
MAINTENANCE (M)
1. Verify the aileron trim system is centered as follows:
A. Observe the control wheels are essentially centered (within tolerance), i.e., the aileron trim indicator reads approximately zero.
NOTE: The MEL requirement to verify the trim system is centered is not intended to imply any particular tolerance. The intent is that the system is centered to the extent it is acceptable to the pilot. A tolerance of +/- one unit of trim is acceptable.
B. Pull and collar the associated circuit breaker.
C. If the control wheel is not centered, then install a dummy link to maintain a centered system.
2. Install a dummy link to center the aileron trim system as follows:
WARNING: DOOR LOCKS MUST BE PROPERLY INSTALLED PRIOR TO ACCESS TO LATERAL FEEL, CENTERING, AND TRIM MECHANISM. RAPID ACTION OF DOORS MAY INJURE PERSONNEL OR DAMAGE EQUIPMENT IF LOCKS ARE NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED.
A. Remove aileron trim actuator (AMM 27-11-14).
B. Cap and secure electrical connector.
C. Align rig pin holes A-1 and install rigging pin.
D. Install Aileron Trim Actuator Dummy Link part number A27088-13 or equivalent.
E. Remove rigging pin from rig pin holes A-1.

Airplane Flight Log - CONTROL WHEEL DAMPER INOP MAINTENANCE (M)
NOTE: MMEL relief under this item is for certain failures in the lateral damper system. These types of failures are a failed system found during a periodic maintenance check (passive failure) and a jam of the lateral damper. It is recommended that the lateral damper system be deactivated if either or both of the failure conditions are observed.
WARNING: ENSURE PERSONNEL AND EQUIPMENT ARE CLEAR OF ALL CONTROL SURFACES TO PREVENT INJURY OR DAMAGE.
1. Provide electrical power (AMM 24-22-00/201).
2. Check that landing gear door locks are properly installed (AMM 32-00-15).
WARNING: DOOR LOCKS MUST BE PROPERLY INSTALLED PRIOR TO ACCESS TO LATERAL FEEL, CENTERING AND TRIM MECHANISM. RAPID ACTION OF DOORS MAY INJURE PERSONNEL OR DAMAGE EQUIPMENT IF LOCKS ARE NOT PROPERLY INSTALLED.
3. Check that landing gear downlocks are properly installed (AMM 32-00-20) and wheels are adequately chocked.
4. Depressurize the left, right and center hydraulic systems (AMM 29-11-00/201).
5. Open access door 113AL (AMM 06-41-00/201).
