3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test Do the operational test of the taxi and take off lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-46-00-710-001). Then do the operational test of the runway turn off lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If during the operational tests, only the taxi and take off lights do not operate correctly:
- replace the SW-EXT LT/NOSE (4LR) (Ref. IPC 334608).
B. If, during the operational tests, the integral lighting of the taxi, take off and runway turn off lights do not operate correctly:
- do a check of the circuit breaker (2LR) status.
(1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
- do a check for a ground signal at the LGCIU2 pin AB/11K.
(a) If there is no ground signal:
- replace the LGCIU-2 (5GA2) (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 32-31-71-400-001).

(b) If there is a ground signal:
- do a check for 28VDC at the pin 3 of the circuit breaker (2LR).
1_ If there is no 28VDC:
- replace the C/B - LIGHTING/EXT LT/TAXI AND TAKE OFF/CTL
(2LR).
2 If there is 28VDC:
_
- do a check of the wiring from the LGCIU2 pin AB/11K to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 33-46/01).
a If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the above wiring.
b If there is continuity:
_
- repair the wiring from the circuit breaker (2LR) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 33-46/01).
(2) If the circuit breaker is open:
- close the circuit breaker.
(a) If the circuit breaker trips:
- do a check for a short to ground at the wiring between the circuit breaker (2LR) and the LGCIU2 (5GA2) pin AB/11K through the related switches (2LC) and (4LR) and the related power supply relays (6LC), (5LR) and (6LR) (Ref. ASM 33-46/01) and (Ref. ASM 33-43/01).
1 If there is a short to ground:
_ - repair the related wiring.
2 If there is no short to ground:
_ - replace the circuit breaker (2LR).
C. Do the tests given in Para. 3.
