4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the operational test gives the maintenance message RDG LIGHT PCB XX L, R (XX seats) and one or more lamps do not come on:
- replace the lamps that do not come on (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-64-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-64-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the related READING-LIGHT POWER UNIT (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-38-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-38-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- replace the related PCB 2038VUA (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-49-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-49-400-001).
B. If the operational test gives the maintenance message RDG LIGHT PCB XX L, R and all the reading lights come on:
- replace the related DEU-A (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-46-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the related: READING-LIGHT POWER UNIT conn. A/J and DEU-A conn. C/36 (Page 101) READING-LIGHT POWER UNIT conn. A/J and DEU-A conn. C/43 (Page 102) READING-LIGHT POWER UNIT conn. A/J and DEU-A conn. C/29 (Page 103) READING-LIGHT POWER UNIT conn. A/B and GND (Ref. ASM 23-73/13) and (Ref. ASM 33-25/01).
