A. Test Do the operational test of the general illumination (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-00-710-001).
NOTE : Do this test for the instrument lighting, the supplementary
____ reading lights, the map table lights and the center pedestal light only.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If, during the operational test:
(1) The dimming function of the F/O map table light rheostat is not operative:
- replace the RHEOSTAT-MAP TABLE LIGHT, F/O (40LE) (Ref. IPC 331201).
(2) The F/O map table light does not come on:
- make sure that there is 28VDC at the F/O map table light rheostat (40LE) pin A (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the LIGHT-MAP TABLE, F/O (42LE) (Ref. IPC 331201). 1 If the fault continues:

- repair the wiring between the F/O map table light (42LE) and the related rheostat (40LE) (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).

4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If, during the operational test, when you turn the INTEG LT/MAIN PNL & PED potentiometer (17LF) from OFF to BRT:
(1) One light of the related integrally lighted panels is inoperative:
- remove the defective lamp or LED in the PLATE-INT LIGHTED IDENT (Ref. IPC 331308) or (Ref. IPC 275143)
- make sure that there is a voltage at the lamp socket.

(a) If there is a voltage:
- replace the defective lamp.
(b) If there is no voltage:
- do a check and repair the wiring (Ref. ASM 33-13/01).
(2) If the integral lighting of several instruments and/or panels is inoperative:
- do a check of the lighting controller fuse related to the defective lighting circuit (Ref. ASM 33-13/01).
(a) If the fuse is correct:
