3. Fault Confirmation
__________________
A. Test
(1) Do the operational test of the annunciator light test system (Ref. AMM TASK 33-14-00-710-001). (Ref. Fig. 202/TASK 33-14-00-991-002)
(2) If several annunciator lights are off during the test: Refer to the related schematics and make sure that the failures occur independently from each other from (Ref. ASM 33-14/04) to (Ref. ASM 33-14/23).
(a) If they occur independently
- do the fault isolation procedure (Ref. TASK 33-14-00-810-801) for every defective annunciator light one by one.
(b) If they do not occur independently
- isolate the common component which can be damaged.
1 If all defective annunciator lights are related to a same fuse
_ of one of the four transformers (Ref. ASM 33-14/02)
- go to Para. A.
2 If all defective annunciator lights are related to a same
_ annunciator-light test and interface-board (Ref. ASM 33-14/02)
- go to Para. B.
3 If all defective annunciator lights are related to the same
_ transformer 36LP (Ref. ASM 33-14/02)
- go to Para. C.
4 If all defective annunciator lights are related to a same
_ transformer 31FP or 35LP or 37LP (Ref. ASM 33-14/02)
- go to Para. D.
5 If all defective annunciator lights are related to different
_ annunciator-light test and interface-boards, from 1LP to 11LP (Ref. ASM 33-14/02)
- go to Para. E.
6 If all annunciator lights are off during the test.
_ - go to Para. F.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. The defective fuse is isolated
- replace the related fuse on its transformer.
(1) If the fault continues
- do a check and repair the wiring between the related fuse output and the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 33-14/02).
