- replace the RHEOSTAT-FLOOD LT/PED (28LE) (Ref. IPC 331208).
(2) The center pedestal light (27LE) does not come on:
- remove the LT-CENTER PEDESTAL (27LE) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-14-000-002)
- make sure that there is 28VDC at the lamp socket.
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the defective lamp (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-14-400-002).

2 If there is continuity:

- do a check for 28VDC at pin A/1 of the pedestal flood light rheostat (28LE) (Ref. ASM 33-12/02).
a If there is no 28VDC:

- do a check and repair the wiring between the pedestal flood light rheostat (28LE) pin A/1 and the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 33-12/02).
b If there is 28VDC:
_
- do a check and repair the wiring between the center pedestal light (27LE): . and the pedestal flood light rheostat (28LE) . and the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 33-12/02).

3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test Do the operational test of the general illumination (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-00-710-001).
NOTE : Do this test for the instrument lighting, the supplementary
____ reading lights, the map table lights and the center pedestal light only.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If, during the operational test:
(1) One main instrument-panel light (center, Captain or First Officer) does not come on:
- remove the defective bulb of the LT-MAIN INSTRUMENT PNL, F/O (36LE) LT-MAIN INSTRUMENT PNL, CAPT (37LE) or LT-MAIN INSTRUMENT PNL, CENTER (38LE) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-13-000-001).
- make sure that there is 28VDC at the bulb socket.
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the defective bulb (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-13-400-001).

- replace the RHEOSTAT-FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL (35LE) (Ref. IPC 331208).
(3) The center main instrument panel lights do not come on:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the center main instrument-panel light (38LE) and the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 33-12/02).
(4) One of the main instrument-panel lights on the First Officer side (36LE) and one of the center main instrument-panel lights (38LE) do not come on:
- do a check for continuity between pin A/1 and pin A/2 of the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat (35LE).
(a) If there is no continuity:
- replace the RHEOSTAT-FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL (35LE) (Ref. IPC 331208).
(b) If there is continuity:
- do a check for 28VDC at pin A/1 of the FLOOD LT/MAIN PNL rheostat (35LE) (Ref. ASM 33-12/02).
