Failure of the Left Runway Turn off Light

A. Test Do the operational test of the runway turn off lights (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-00-710-001).
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If during the operational test when you set the EXT LT/RWY TURN OFF switch (2LC) to ON, the left turn off light does not operate correctly:
- do a check of the circuit breaker (1LC1) status.
(1) If the circuit breaker is closed:
- do a check of continuity between the circuit breaker (1LC1) and the left runway turn off light (3LC1) pin A/A.
(a) If there is continuity:
- do a check for 115VAC between the pin A/A and A/B of the left runway turn off light (3LC1).
1 If there is 115VAC:
_
- replace the LT-RUNWAY TURNOFF, L (3LC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-11-400-001).

Feb 01/98 CES 2 If there is no 115VAC:
_
- do a check and repair the wiring from the left runway turn of light (3LC1) pin A/B to the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 33-43/01).
(b) If there is no continuity:
- replace the RELAY-PWR SPLY, RWY TURN OFF LT (6LC) (Ref. IPC 334308).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check for 115VAC at the power supply relay (6LC) pin A/B2.
a If there is 115VAC:
_
- repair the wiring between the power supply relay (6LC) pin A/B1 and the pin A/A of the left runway turn off light (3LC1) (Ref. ASM 33-43/01).
b If there is no 115VAC:
_
- replace the C/B-LIGHTING/EXT LT/RWY TURN OFF/L (1LC1) . If the fault continues:
- repair the wiring between the power supply relay (6LC) pin A/B2 and the circuit breaker (1LC1) (Ref. ASM 33-43/01).
(2) If the circuit breaker is open:
- close the circuit breaker.
(a) If the circuit breaker trips:
- replace the LT-RUNWAY TURNOFF, L (3LC1) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-43-11-400-001).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- do a check for a short to ground at the wiring between the left runway turn off light (3LC1) pin A/A and the circuit breaker (1LC1) (Ref. ASM 33-43/01).
a If there is a short to ground:
_ - repair the related wiring.
b If there is no short to ground:
_
- replace the circuit breaker (1LC1).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
