- make sure that there is 28VDC at the lamp socket.
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the defective lamp (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-11-400-002).

(2) The four console and briefcase lights on the First Officer side do not operate correctly:
- do a check for a ground signal at pin 1D of the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (16LE) in the BRT position (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(a) If there is no ground signal:
- replace the SW-CONSOLE/FLOOR (16LE) (Ref. IPC 331208).
1 If the fault continues:
_
- repair the wiring between the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (16LE) pin 3D and the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(b) If there is a ground signal:
- do a check for 28VDC at pin 2A of the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (16LE) (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
1 If there is 28VDC:

- do a check and repair the wiring between the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (16LE) and the First Officer console and briefcase lights (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
2 If there is no 28VDC:
_
- replace the SW-CONSOLE/FLOOR (16LE) (Ref. IPC 331208).
a If the fault continues:
_
- repair the wiring from the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (16LE) to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).

A. If, during the operational test, the Captain seat, console and briefcase lights do not operate correctly:
(1) When the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (15LE) is in the DIM position:
- replace the SW-CONSOLE/FLOOR (15LE) (Ref. IPC 331208).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring from the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (15LE) pin 2D to the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(2) When the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (15LE) is in the BRT position:
- do a check and repair the wiring from the circuit breaker (5LE) to the first terminal block,via the CONSOLE/FLOORswitch (15LE) (Ref. AWM 33-12-01) .
