 A. If the functional test shows there is no 28 VDC at the maintenance socket:
 - replace the MAINTENANCE SOCKET (2LK).
 (1) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring between: CB 1LK and SOCKET 2LK pin + GND and SOCKET 2LK pin N (Ref. ASM 33-32/01).
 B. Do the test as given in Para. 3. A.
 5. Close-up

 A. Do the operational test of the FWD and AFT Cargo-Compartment Lighting (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-00-710-001).
 4. Fault Isolation

 A. If the operational test shows that a light in the FWD Cargo Compartment does not come on:
 - replace the related fluorescent tube.
 (1) If the fault continues:
 - do a check for 115 VAC at the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C (Ref. ASM 33-34/01).
 (a) If there is approx. 115 VAC:

 - replace the related BALLAST UNIT (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-11-400-001).

 (b) If there is no 115 VAC:

 - do a check of the FWD CARGO COMPT SW 6LU and replace it if necessary.

 B. If the operational test shows that a light in the AFT Cargo Compartment does not come on:
 - replace the related fluorescent tube.
 (1) If the fault continues:

 - do a check for 115 VAC at the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C (Ref. ASM 33-34/01).
 (a) If there is approx. 115 VAC:

 - replace the related BALLAST UNIT (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-11-400-001).

 (b) If there is no 115 VAC:

 - do a check of the AFT CARGO COMPT SW 8LU and replace it if necessary.

 (2) If the fault continues:

 - do a check and repair the wiring between the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C and CB 2LU (Ref. ASM 33-34/01).
 C. If the operational test shows that a light in the AFT Cargo Compartment does not come on:
 - replace the related fluorescent tube.
 (1) If the fault continues:

 - do a check for 115 VDC at the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C (Ref. ASM 33-34/01).
 (a) If there is approx. 115 VDC:

 - replace the related BALLAST UNIT (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-11-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 33-34-11-400-001).

 (b) If there is no 115 VDC:

 - do a check of the AFT CARGO COMPT SW 8LU and replace it if necessary.

 (c) If the fault continues:

 - do a check of the AFT CARGO COMPT SW 18LU and replace it if necessary.

 (2) If the fault continues:

 - do a check and repair the wiring between the related BALLAST UNIT connector A/C and CB 2LU (Ref. ASM 33-34/01).
 D. Do the test as given in the Para. 3.A .
