3. Fault Confirmation

A. Test Do the operational test of the general illumination (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-00-710-001).
NOTE : Do this test for the dome lights only.

4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If, during the operational test:
(1) One dome light at the First Officer station does not operate correctly:
- remove the defective lamp LT-DOME, F/O (162LE) or LT-DOME, F/O (164LE) or LT-DOME, F/O (166LE) or LT-DOME, F/O (168LE) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-11-000-002).
- make sure that there is 28VDC at the lamp socket.
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the defective lamp (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-11-400-002).

Feb 01/98 CES (b) If there is no 28VDC:
- do a check and repair the wiring (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(2) Two dome lights (162LE) and (164LE) or (166LE) and (168LE) at the First Officer station do not operate correctly:
- do a check for a ground signal at pin 3H of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) in the BRT position (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(a) If there is no ground signal:
- repair the wiring between the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) pin 3H and the ground terminal (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(b) If there is a ground signal
- do a check and repair the wiring of the related First Officer dome lights (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(3) The four dome lights at the First Officer station do not operate correctly:
- do a check for 28VDC at pin 1C of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- make sure that there is continuity between the pin 1C of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and: . the pin 1H of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) in the DIM position . the pin 3F of the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) in the BRT position (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
1 If there is continuity:
_
- repair the defective wiring between the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) and the First Officer dome light (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
2 If there is no continuity:
_ - replace the SW-INT LT/DOME (14LE) (Ref. IPC 331208).
a If the fault continues:
_
- repair the defective wiring (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
(b) If there is no 28VDC:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the INT LT/DOME switch (14LE) pin 1C and the first terminal block (Ref. ASM 33-12/01).
B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
