A. Do the Test
(1) Do the BITE test of the Cabin Intercommunication Data System (CIDS) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-73-00-740-005).
(2) Do the CIDS1/DEU-B test through the CFDS.
(3) Do the CIDS1/CIDS BUS test through the CFDS.
(4) Do the operational test of the emergency lighting system (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-00-710-001).

3. Fault Confirmation
__________________
A. Do this Test
(1) Do the operational test of the emergency lights by TEST EMER LIGHT SYS pushbutton (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-00-710-001).
(2) On the overhead panel 25VU, set the NO SMOKING switch 190RH to the ON position.
(3) Monitor the EXIT signs in the cabin.
(4) On the overhead panel 25VU, set the NO SMOKING switch 190RH to the AUTO position.
(5) Monitor the EXIT signs in the cabin.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the exit signs in the cabin flicker with the NO SMOKING switch 190RH in either the ON or the AUTO position:
- replace the RELAY 8WL in the relay box 103VU in the electronics compartment (Ref. ASM 33-51/00).
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the DIODE (on diode holder 1158VD) between pins 31 and 32 on panel 103VU126 (Ref. ASM 33-51/00).
B. Do the test given in para. 3.

A. Do the operational test of the emergency lights via MCDU (Ref. AMM TASK 33-51-00-710-010).
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives a different maintenance message, do the trouble shooting procedure related to the maintenance message.
B. If the operational test gives the maintenance message:
(1) EMER EXIT LT SW/FAP PB/EPSU(10WL)FWD L:
(a) Make sure that on the panel 25VU:
- the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL is in the OFF position,
- the EMER EXIT LT OFF light 5WL is on. 1 If the fault continues:

- replace the EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL. 2 If the fault continues:
_
- check and repair the wiring between: EPSU 10WL pin -D and EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL pin 3C, EPSU 10WL pin A and EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL pin 3B, EPSU 10WL pin B and EMER EXIT LT switch 4WL pin 2B (Ref. ASM 33-51/01).
