- do a check and repair the wiring from the circuit breaker (4LE) to the first terminal block, via the CONSOLE/FLOOR switch (16LE) (Ref. AWM 33-12-02) .

4. Fault Isolation

A. If during the operational test, on the Captain side:
(1) The reading light rheostat (30LE) is inoperative on the related supplementary reading light (29LE):
- replace the RHEOSTAT-READING LT (30LE) on the Captain side (Ref. IPC 331208).
(2) The supplementary reading light (29LE) does not come on:
- remove the LT-READING, SUPPLEMENTARY (29LE) (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-12-000-001)
- make sure that there is 28VDC at the lamp socket.
(a) If there is 28VDC:
- replace the defective lamp (Ref. AMM TASK 33-12-12-400-001).
