A. Do the DMU (1TV) fault monitoring test (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-710-001).
NOTE : The message 'CAGA MEMORY FAIL' is displayed on the DMU result
____ power up test page and the maintenace ECAM status page displayed 'DMU'.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If the DMU result power up test gives the message 'CAGA MEMORY FAIL' do the subsequent procedure to correct this failure:
(1) On the MCDU:
- select the 'MCDU MENU' key on the MCDU keypad
- select the 4L key 'AIDS'
- select the 2L key 'PROGRAMMING'
- enter the customer level 2 access code
- select the 1L key 'ENTER CODE'
- select the 5L key 'PROGRAMMING MENUS'
(2) The 'AIDS DMU PROGRAMMING' menu is shown.
- select the 1R key 'CALL UP'
(3) The 'AIDS CALL UP MODIFY' is shown.
- select the 3L key 'PARAMETER CALL UP'
(4) The 'AIDS PARAMETER PROGRAM' menu is shown.
- enter on the scratchpad '7C/1/277/01'
- select the 2L key to take over the parameter

(5) A printout of the new parameter is done.
- select the 6L key 'RETURN' until the system page is not shown
(6) 'AIDS (TIME OUT)' is shown on the MCDU display.
- do step 1 to 4 again
- select the 'CLR' key on the MCDU keypad
- select the 2L key to take over the 'CLR'
(7) A printout of the deleted parameter is done.
- do step 6 again
B. Do the test given in paragraph 3.A. again to check the correct operation. (The message 'DMU' and 'CAGA MEMORY FAIL' is not displayed). When the failure 'DMU' and 'CAGA MEMORY FAIL' is after the procedure diplayed, replace the DMU (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-400-001).
