A. If the test gives the maintenance message as listed below do the related trouble shooting procedure:
- "DFDR" (Ref. TASK 31-33-00-810-801)
- "QAR" (Ref. TASK 31-33-00-810-803)
- "QAR MEDIA" (Ref. TASK 31-33-00-810-804)
- "ACCELEROMETER" (Ref. TASK 31-33-00-810-805)
- "DFDR PLAYBACK" (Ref. TASK 31-33-00-810-806)
- "NO AC IDENT" (Ref. TASK 31-33-00-810-807)
- "PCMCIA MEDIA" (Ref. TASK 31-36-00-810-900)
- "DAR" (Ref. TASK 31-36-00-810-802)
- "DAR MEDIA" (Ref. TASK 31-36-00-810-803)
- "BATTERY" (Ref. TASK 31-36-00-810-899)

(1) If the test gives a message related to a FDIMU internal failure replace the DMU/FDIU (FDIMU) (10TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-400-002).
(2) If the test gives a message "NO RESPONSE" (FDIU part and DMU part):
- make sure that the CB 5TV is closed
- do a check for 115 VAC at the FDIMU (10TV) connectors AC/1 and AC/7 (Ref. ASM 31-36/01).
(a) If there is 115 VAC:
- replace the DMU/FDIU (FDIMU) (10TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-400-002).
(b) If there is no 115 VAC:
- do a check and repair the wiring between the DMU/FDIU (FDIMU) (10TV) and CB 5TV and Ground points (Ref. ASM 31-36/01):
1_ from FDIMU AC/1 to CB 5TV/2
2_ from FDIMU AC/7 to ground
3_ from FDIMU AA/15J to ground
4_ from FDIMU AA/15K to ground
5_ from FDIMU AB/15J to ground
6_ from FDIMU AB/15K to ground.
B. Do the test given in para. 3.
