A. If the DAR (2TV) do not run:
- make sure that the CBs 4TV and 9TU are closed,
- do a check for 28 VDC at the DAR (2TV) connectors AA/6D and AA/5K (Ref. ASM 31-36/01),
- do a check for 115 VAC at the DAR (2TV) connectors AC/1 and AC/4 (Ref. ASM 31-36/01).
(1) If there is no 28 VDC:
- do a check of the wiring (Ref. ASM 31-36/01), between:
CB 9TU and DAR (2TV) connector AA/6D
and replace the wiring if necessary.
(2) If there is no 115 VAC:
- do a check of the wiring (Ref. ASM 31-36/01), between:
CB 4TV and DAR (2TV) connector AC/1
and repair the wiring if necessary.
(3) If there is 28 VDC and 115 VAC:
- replace the DAR (2TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-400-001).
(4) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring as necessary (Ref. ASM 31-36/01), between:
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/5D and DMU (1TV) connector AA/13E,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/1A and DMU (1TV) connector AA/13A,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/2A and DMU (1TV) connector AA/13B,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/9A and DMU (1TV) connector AA/13J,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/10A and DMU (1TV) connector AA/13K,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/5G and DMU (1TV) connector AB/13E,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/1E and DMU (1TV) connector AB/13A,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/12G and DMU (1TV) connector AB/13B,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/12D and DMU (1TV) connector AB/13K,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/12A and DMU (1TV) connector AB/13F,
- Wiring bridge DAR connector AA/12A and AA/14A.
R **ON A/C 106-149, 151-199, 201-299, 301-399, 401-499,
B. Do the test given in paragraph 3.A. again to check the correct operation (no maintenance message display).

4. Fault Isolation

A. If the DAR (2TV) test gives the maintenance message MEDIA LOW:
- do a check of the wiring (Ref. ASM 31-36/01), between:
DAR (2TV) connector AA/5G and DMU (1TV) connector AB/13E
and repair the wiring if necessary.
(1) If the fault continues:
- replace the DAR (2TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-400-001).
R **ON A/C 106-149, 211-299, 301-399, 401-499,
A. If the DAR (2TV) test gives the maintenance message DAR TAPE LOW or DAR MEDIA LOW:
- make sure that a non-writeprotected disk with enough unrecorded capacity is inserted.
(1) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair if necessary the wiring between DAR (2TV) connector AA/5G and FDIMU (10TV) connector AB/13E (Ref. ASM 31-36/01).
(2) If the fault continues:
- replace the DAR (2TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-400-001).
**ON A/C 151-158, 201-209,
A. If the DAR (2TV) test gives the maintenance message DAR TAPE LOW:
NOTE : 'DAR TAPE LOW' means the optical disk medium.
____ - do a check of the wiring (Ref. ASM 31-36/01), between:
DAR (2TV) connector AA/5G and DMU (1TV) connector AB/13E
and repair the wiring if necessary.
