B. On the MCDU1, get the ACARS (or ATSU) page on the MCDU MENU and then push the line key adjacent to the PRINT indication.
4. Fault Isolation
_______________
A. If it is not possible to print the ACARS (or ATSU) data on the printer (4TW):
- replace the PRINTER (4TW) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-35-22-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-35-22-400-001).
(1) If the fault continues (with ACARS-MU installed)
- replace the MU-ACARS (1RB) (Ref. AMM TASK 23-24-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 23-24-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from ACARS MU (1RB) pins AB/15E, 15F to printer (4TW) pins A/T, U (Ref. ASM 31-35/01).
1 If there is no continuity:
_
- repair the wiring.
2 If there is continuity:
_
- do a check of the wiring from MCDU1 (3CA1) pins A/27, 28 to ACARS MU (1RB) pins AB/14A, 14B (Ref. ASM 22-86/04).
a If there is no continuity:
_ - repair the wiring.

b If there is continuity:

- replace the MCDU-1 (3CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-400-002).
(2) If the fault continues (with ATSU installed)
- replace the ATSU (1TX1) (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 46-21-34-400-001).
(a) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the wiring from ATSU (1TX1) pins AA/1E, 1F to printer (4TW) pins A/T, U (Ref. ASM 31-35/01).
1 If there is no continuity:
_
- repair the wiring.
2 If there is continuity:
_
- do a check of the wiring from MCDU1 (3CA1) pins A/27, 28 to ATSU (1TX1) pins AA/7E, 7F (Ref. ASM 22-86/04).
a If there is no continuity:
_
- repair the wiring.
b If there is continuity:
_
- replace the MCDU-1 (3CA1) (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 22-82-12-400-002).
B. Do the action given in Para. 3.B.
