 A. Make sure that this(these) circuit breaker(s) is(are) closed:

 B. On the CFDS MENU page, get access to the class 3 faults reading page (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-869-002).

 4. Fault Isolation
_______________
 A. If the test gives the maintenance message NO GPCU DATA:
 - replace the CFDIU (1TW), (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-34-400-001).
 (1) If the fault continues:

 - do a check and repair the wiring from the CFDIU (1TW) pins AA/6F, 6G to the GPCU (1XG) pins AA/7D, 7C, (Ref. ASM 31-32/06).

 (2) If the fault continues:


 - do a check for 28VDC at GPCU (1XG) pin AB/15A (Ref. ASM 24-41/00).
 (a) if there is 28VDC:

 - replace the GPCU (1XG), (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 24-41-34-400-001).

 (b) if there is no 28VDC:


 - do a check for open or short to ground of the wiring between the C/B-ELEC/GPCU (7XG) and the GPCU (1XG) pin AB/15A.
 1_ if there is an open or a short to ground:
 - repair the defective wiring(s).
 2_ if there is no open or short to ground:

 - replace the defective C/B-ELEC/GPCU (7XG).
 B. Do the test given in Para. 3.B.

 A. Read the AVIONICS STATUS on the MCDU (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-00-740-009).
 4. Fault Isolation
_______________
 A. If the test gives the maintenance message NO SDCU DATA:
 - replace the CFDIU (1TW), (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-32-34-400-001).
 (1) If the fault continues:
 - replace the SDCU (10WQ) (Ref. AMM TASK 26-17-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 26-17-34-400-001).
 (a) If the fault continues:
 - do a check and repair the wiring from the CFDIU (1TW) to the SDCU (10WQ) from pins AA/11H,11J to pins AB/3C, 4C , (Ref. ASM 31-32/04).
 B. Do the test given in Para. 3.
