4. Fault Isolation

A. If the DMU (1TV) test gives the maintenance message DMU only:
- make sure that the CB 4TV is closed,
- do a check for 115 VAC at the DMU (1TV) connectors AC/1 and AC/7 (Ref. ASM 31-36/01).
(1) If there is 115 VAC:
- replace the DMU (1TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-400-001).
(2) If the fault continues:
- do a check of the correct FDIU engine pin programming (Ref. ASM 31-34/03).
(3) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring as necessary (Ref. ASM 31-36/01), between:
DMU (1TV) Ground pin AA/15J and ground,
DMU (1TV) Ground pin AA/15K and ground,
DMU (1TV) Ground pin AB/15J and ground,
DMU (1TV) Ground pin AB/15K and ground.
B. Do the test given in paragraph 3.A. again to check the correct operation (no maintenance message display).

(1) Reset the DAR
(a) Open the circuit breakers 5TV and 9TU.
(b) Wait for 1 minute.
(c) Close the circuit breakers 5TV and 9TU.
(2) Do the DAR (2TV) test (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-740-003).

(1) Reset the DAR
(a) Open the circuit breakers 4TV and 9TU.
(b) Wait for 1 minute.

A. If the DAR (2TV) do not run:
- make sure that the CBs 5TV and 9TU are closed,
- do a check for 28 VDC at the DAR (2TV) connectors AA/6D and AA/5K (Ref. ASM 31-36/01),
- do a check for 115 VAC at the DAR (2TV) connectors AC/1 and AC/4 (Ref. ASM 31-36/01).
(1) If there is no 28 VDC:
- do a check and repair the wiring as necessary, between CB 9TU/2 and DAR connector AA/6D (Ref. ASM 31-36/01).
(2) If there is no 115 VAC:
- do a check and repair the wiring as necessary, between CB 5TV/2 and DAR connector AC/1 (Ref. ASM 31-36/01).
(3) If there is 28 VDC and 115 VAC:
- replace the DAR (2TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-000-001) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-52-400-001).
(4) If the fault continues:
- do a check and repair the wiring as necessary (Ref. ASM 31-36/01), between:
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/5D and FDIMU (10TV) connector AA/13E,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/1A and FDIMU (10TV) connector AA/13A,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/2A and FDIMU (10TV) connector AA/13B,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/9A and FDIMU (10TV) connector AA/13J,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/10A and FDIMU (10TV) connector AA/13K,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/5G and FDIMU (10TV) connector AB/13E,
- DAR (2TV) connector AA/1E and FDIMU (10TV) connector AB/13A,
