- do a check and if necessary repair the wiring between the BMC-1 (1HA1) or BMC-2 (1HA2) and the DMU/FDIU (FDIMU) (10TV) (Ref. ASM 31-37/01):

BMC 1 Connector AA/11C to FDIMU Connector AA/1K
BMC 1 Connector AA/12C to Ground
or
BMC 2 Connector AB/10C to FDIMU Connector AB/1J
BMC 2 Connector AB/11C to FDIMU Connector AB/1K
BMC 2 Connector AB/12C to Ground
(3) If the fault continues:
- replace the FDIMU (10TV) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-000-002) and (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-34-400-002).

A. Do the FDIMU (10TV) fault monitoring test (AIDS-part) (Ref. AMM TASK 31-36-00-740-012).
NOTE : Make sure that the circuit breakers 5TV, 2JH1, 3JH1, 4KS1, 2JH2,
____ 3JH2, 4KS2 on the panel 121VU and 1JH, 2KS1, 2KS2 on the panel 49VU are closed during the test.
4. Fault Isolation

A. If the test gives the maintenance message:
- ECU1 (4000) / FDIMU (10TV) or
- ECU2 (4000) / FDIMU (10TV)
(1) Do the functional test of the ECU (Ref. AMM TASK 73-21-60-720-040).
(a) If the test gives a different maintenance message, you can find the related trouble shooting procedure in the applicable Page Block 101.
(2) If the fault continues:
- do a check and if necessary repair the wiring between the ECU Eng 1 or ECU Eng 2 and the DMU/FDIU (FDIMU) (10TV) (Ref. ASM 31-37/01):
