(3) Deflate the tire completely. ;
NOTE : If you must remove the wheel for access it is not necessary to____ deflate the tire if: - the tire is in correct condition and - the tire pressure is in the Normal Operating Range. (Ref. TASK 32-41-00-210-003) If you have not these two conditions you must deflate the tire.

A. Get access
(1)
Cut and remove the corrosion resistant steel lockwire.

(2)
Remove the screws (7) and the washers (8).

(3) Remove the hubcap (6).

B. Removal of the NLG wheel
(1)
Remove and discard the two cotter pins (4).

(2)
Remove the nuts (3), the washers (2) and the bolts (5).

(3)
Remove the casing (9).

(4)
Remove the axle nut (10) with the ADAPTOR NLG (J47549).

(5)
Install the PROTECTOR NLG (J47548).

(6)
Remove the wheel.

R A. Get access
R (1) Cut and remove the corrosion resistant steel lockwire.
R (2) Remove the screws (14) and the washers (15).
R (3) Release the grommet (16) and remove the hubcap (12).
R (4) Disconnect the electrical connector (11) from the connector (18) and
R install the blanking cap on the disconnectd connector.
R WARNING : MAKE SURE THAT THE TIRE IS FULLY DEFLATED._______
R (5) Remove and discard the cotter pin (5). Remove the nut (6).
R (6) Remove the pressure transducer (4).
R (7) Remove the preformed packings (3) and discard them.

R B. Removal of the NLG Wheel
R (1) Remove and discard the two cotter pins (9).
R (2) Remove the nuts (8), the washers (7) and the bolts (10).
R (3) Remove the axle nut (17) with the ADAPTOR NLG (J47549).
R (4) Install the PROTECTOR NLG (J47548).
R (5) Remove the wheel.
