A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits (Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002).
(2)
Pressurize the Yellow hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-863-001).
(3)
Pressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-863-001).
(4)
On the panel 402VU, make sure that the ANTI SKID selector switch is in the ON position.
(5)
On the panel 110VU, make sure that the PARK BRK control switch is in the OFF position.
(6)
Do the IR alignment procedure (Ref. TASK 34-10-00-860-004).

A. Test of the normal braking system
To do this, do a functional test of the tachometers on all wheels (Ref. TASK 32-42-00-720-002)
NOTE : Do this test on each wheel.

Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(2)
Make sure that the Yellow hydraulic system is pressurized (Ref. TASK 29-24-00-863-001).

C. Test of the alternate braking system with antiskid To do this, do a functional test of the tachometers on all wheels with only the Yellow hydraulic system pressurized (Ref. TASK 32-42-00-720-002)
NOTE : Do this test on each wheel.

E. Test of the alternate braking system without antiskid
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------ACTION RESULT -------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Fully press the two brake pedals. The pressure read on the Yellow pressure triple indicator is zero on left and right side's.
2. On the panel 402VU, put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in the ON and OFF positions. Do this three or four times. Each time, make sure that the brakeYellow pressure triple indicator shows:- a pressure value when the switch is at OFF on left and right side. - no pressure value when the switch is at ON on left and right side.
3. Put the A/SKID & N/W STRG switch in the OFF position. The triple indicator shows the left andright side pressure values.
4. Release the left pedal. The indicator does not show the left side pressure value.
5. Push the left pedal. The indicator shows the left-side pressure value again.
6. Release the right pedal. The indicator does not show the right side pressure value.
7. Push the right pedal. The indicator shows the right-side pressure value again.
