Remove the PROTECTOR (F46754-1000).

Install the axle nut (7) on the axle and tighten it with the ADAPTOR MLG (H47682).

In the cockpit, set the PARK BRK control switch to OFF.

Turn the wheel in the direction of the axle nut rotation and TORQUE the axle nut (7) to between 25 and 30 m.daN (184.36 and 221.23 lbf.ft).

Prevent the rotation of the wheel and loosen the axle nut (7) to between 5 and 10 m.daN (36.87 and 73.74 lbf.ft).
(7)
Turn the wheel in the direction of the axle nut rotation and TORQUE the axle nut (7) to 15 m.daN (110.61 lbf.ft).
(8)
Tighten the axle nut (7) until the holes in the nut are aligned with the holes in the axle.
(9)
Install the bolts (8), the washers (6) and the nuts (5).
NOTE : Install the heads of the bolts (8) in the axle.

TORQUE the nuts (5) to between 0.4 and 0.45 m.daN (35.39 and 39.82 lbf.in).
(11)
Install the cotter pins (4).
(12) Turn the wheel manually to make sure that it is installed correctly. Subtask 32-41-11-420-062
D. Installation of the Hubcap
(1)
Install the hubcap (11) carefully in the tachometer drive shaft. NOTE : Use the locating pin (14) to put the hubcap (11) in the
____ correct position. This locks the shroud so that it cannot turn on the wheel.
(2)
Install the clamp (12).
(3)
TORQUE the screw (9) to between 0.28 and 0.34 m.daN (24.77 and 30.08 lbf.in).

(1)
If applicable inflate the tire to the unloaded pressure (Ref. TASK 12-14-32-614-001).
(2)
Lower the aircraft on its wheels (Ref. TASK 07-12-00-582-002).
(3)
Do a check of the pressure of the tire (Ref. TASK 32-41-00-210-003).
