A. Aircraft Maintenance Configuration
(1)
Energize the aircraft electrical circuits
(Ref. TASK 24-41-00-861-002)
(2)
Depressurize the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-10-00-864-001).
(3)
Make sure that the parking brake is OFF.
(4)
Make sure that the brake accumulator is depressurized.

B. Get Access
(1) Open the left or the right MLG door (Ref. TASK 32-12-00-010-001).

C. Disconnection of the PTU Isolation Coupling
(1)
Depressurize the reservoir of the Green hydraulic system (Ref. TASK 29-14-00-614-001).
(2)
Disconnect the PTU isolation coupling (Ref. TASK 29-23-00-860-001).
(3)
Obey the flight configuration precautions (Ref. TASK 32-00-00-860-001).
(4)
Put the access platform in position.
(5)
Put the container below the brake selector valve 23GG to collect the hydraulic fluid leakage.

E. Safety Precautions
(1) Put the warning notices in position to tell persons not to pressurize the Green hydraulic system: - on the panel 40VU in the cockpit, - on the ground service panel of the Green hydraulic system.

4. Procedure

Subtask 32-42-11-020-051-A
A. Removal of the Brake Selector valve 23GG
(1)
Obey the hydraulic safety procedures (Ref. TASK 29-00-00-910-002).
(2)
Disconnect the electrical connector (10) from the brake selector valve (11).
(3)
Put blanking caps on the disconnected electrical connectors.
(4)
Remove the bolts (9), the washers (8) and the bonding strap (7).
(5)
Carefully remove the brake selector valve (11) from the manifold assembly (1).
(6)
Remove and discard the packings (2) and the back-up rings (3) from the bobbins (4).
(7)
Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
R (8) If necessary, remove the bobbins (4) (Ref. TASK 20-23-21-911-001), R discard the seals (6) and the back-up rings (5).
(9) Put blanking plugs on the disconnected line ends.
